Brandon's friend, Peter, collected our Hampshire based Swallow tandem in mid-March 2021. They are its first Borrowers. Peter told our Facebook group at the end of March, "Myself and Brandon getting some training done in preparation for Ironman 70.3. Brandon is an elite player for GB Blind football and over lockdown has decided to train for an arduous event, as football had been stopped. Thank you to Charlotte's Tandems for the loan."

Reuben and his Mum, Lauren, collected our Devon based Viking Valhalla tandem in late-February 2021. Lauren said in mid-March, “When the weather is dry and warm enough it's making a huge difference to our lives. It's Fun, Distraction, Exercise, Team work, Safety, Inclusion & Laughter.
We are spreading the word! Including to the special/additional needs and trauma families I teach art and dance to, in groups and one to one, both on zoom and in person. It's so wonderful thank you.
It's hailed and thundered and rained and been very windy for many days now. If there is availability to borrow again in the summer we would like to. I'm sure we will be back on riding soon. My son really feels the cold and has had some sick days so knowing we have it for a while is so helpful. He's missed out on so much over the years.”

Isabelle and her Mum, Donna, collected our Liverpool based Burley Samba tandem in late January 2021. She named the tandem, "Prince". It is the second time that they borrowed from us. Donna said on our Facebook group, "Thank you to Charlotte's Tandems for the opportunity again. This means so much....just look at the beautiful smile on my gorgeous girls face ". Very soon after (within a week) they swapped the Samba for the Liverpool based Viking Vlhalla tandem.

First trial ride yesterday up and down our cul-de-sac, just in time before snow today Incredibly brave boy as was very anxious and we had lots of time just sitting on the bike first.
