Alan and his Dad, Krystian, collected our Sussex based Viking Companion tandem at the end of May 2021.
In early June, Anna wrote, "We have already been out on the bike 3 times and Alan loves it. He doesn't like when we stop and he tells us to "go". I'm attaching a picture of Alan, his dad Krystian and brother Oscar on Downs Link in West Sussex. Thank you very much for allowing Alan to try cycling and enabling him to do more exercise!"

Florence and her parents collected our Hampshire based Viking Companion tandem at the end of May 2021. Her Mum, Victoria, wrote that day, "Thank you! Yes my husband was skeptical but watching both their faces riding around the Close was wonderful! I’m hoping I can also get my confidence on a bike too with it - I’ve never been able to ride one :-) Photos to follow and we will put on the school and community hub pages :-)" Later she wrote, "Thank you SO much for our loan! Our daughter is getting used to riding the tandem up and down the Close before their first big adventure. I think this will impact so positively on our family "

Luke and his Mum, Sue, collected our Warwickshire based Circe Helios tandem in late May 2021. Simon, our Helper there wrote on our Facebook group, "Luke is a bit camera shy and a reluctant to ride right now, so it's going to be a work in progress...."
Sue said in early June, "Proof we can get all 4 feet on the pedals at the same time! Luke and I are having lots of fun with this. Thanks again for the help and support to borrow this."

Faye told our Facebook Group in early June, "We would like to say thank you so much for borrowing us one of your Tandems. Reggie was never able to go on bike rides with his dad before as he was too scared to ride a normal bike. Now he is out every weekend and loving it. Thank you so much "

Jack and his Mum, Joanna, and Dad collected our South Staffs based Dawes Toucan tandem in late May 2021. They previously borrowed a Gloucestershire based tag-along bike from us. Joanna told our Facebook Group in early June, "First trip around the block, not sure on his pedals (he used to enjoy coasting on the tag-along ) but getting the hang of it and loving it!!!"

You’re not just providing us with a bike to loan but you have given me a way into Leon’s world, something special for us to share together! We managed a short ride after school and it was a real success for our first ride out together." :ater that week she wrote, "We’ve had a great first week out on the tandem. Thank you so much for loaning it to us. We have been out every day after school this week."

We have been riding 4 - 5 times a week. She have been enjoying the rides so much. We cycle to her college once a week. It's a 10 mile round trip. We only got the photos today as there was a friend to do it for us.

Milan and his Mum, Kata, collected our Gloucestershire based black Thorn Kiddyback tandem in early May 2021. Kata told our Facebook group a couple of days later, "This afternoon has been EPIC. First ride around our neighbourhood, we tested the route to school and popped into the bike shop for some quick fix of the splash guard.
Milan has enjoyed the 3 miles ride, there’s been so much giggling coming from the back. Absolutely no issues with putting on the helmet, there’s one happy mummy on the 3rd picture.

Tim and his Dad, Richard, collected our Devon based Viking Regency tandem at the very start of May 2021. "Just a quick line to say that Tim and I cycled at Exmouth beach on a very wet Sunday. Tim has got his confidence back and really enjoys being able to cycle again. We will plan a few more trips as hopefully as the weather gets better. This is definitely the path to go for Tim. Thankyou for allowing him to try this out."
