Brian collected our Berkshire based Globetrotter tandem in June 2015. Unfortuately his Pilots weren't keen on the drop handlebars, brakes and gears, so he hasn't ridden it much.

Litte and her husband, Peter, had our Suffolk based Claud Butler tandem from late June to mid-August 2015. Unfortunately they wouldn't ride it.

Jake's Mum, Ellie, collected one of our Cheshire based Viking Companion tandems in late June 2015. She said soon after, "This is Jake and me trying out the bike for size. He then went in and put shoes and his helmet on before our first ride. We practiced in the garden for a couple of days first. Many thanks for the loan."

Paul updated us in mid-September, "Owen and I have been out on the tandem regularly and he has taken to it really well. He sings whilst I put all the effort in! Thanks for the opportunity to use it, we are very grateful. I am seriously considering buying one now for Christmas".

Oliver and his Mum, Julie, are the first borrowers of our brand new Northamptonshire based Viking Saratoga tandem. They collected it in mid-June 2015. Julie made the following comments on our Facebook Group, "Brilliant family days out!! The tandem has made an enormous difference to our family outings and picnics! Thank you Charlotte's Tandems!" and "We certainly get seem hooting horns!! Hope it's just the vehicle and not the way we're riding?"

Brian from Liverpool
Brian and his daughter, Frankie, are the first borrowers of our North of England based Viking Saratoga Trike conversion. They have had it since mid-June 2015. Frankie wrote soon after, "It was a bit more challenging to cycle than we thought and we spent a long time raising the seat, lowering the seat, raising it again, and just going round and round in the car park. Given my Dad's age, there is a bit of fear on my part that because I can't see him, he might fall out! This is just a mental block that I need to get over! I think the back rest will help with my Dad's confidence and we will stick to cycling in the car park until we are more confident. Dave was lovely and stayed with us, giving us a few tips and advice until we were more confident with what we were doing. I'll send a photo as soon as we don't look completely terrified!"
