Unlike the vast majority of charities, we are not after your money at the moment. Much more valuable to us is for you to tell lots of people about us. You could link to us on Facebook or Twitter. Maybe you could email your friends the link to our video. We really need people to spread the word about us. However, if you really would like to donate something, here are a few ways. If you are selling on Ebay, you can now donate some or all of your profits by clicking here and selecting Charlotte's Tandems. You can also raise funds for us through Easyfundraising. Here is a Gift Aid Form.
Our Donors
We are very grateful to the too numerous people to mention here for donating their tandems or trailer bikes; many of whom contacted us through the Tandem Club, and to lots of people for their financial donations, for bits of bikes and for cheap sales of tandems to us. Here are some of the organisations who have helped us though donations or maintenance of bikes.
We received grants from the Summerfield Charitable Trust and the Beavers Golfers for use in and around Gloucestershire. We have also received grants from the Tesco Charity Trust, the David Hopkins Trust of the Nationwide Group Staff Union, Foster Wheeler, Rolls Royce, St George's Chuch, Cam, National Grid, J.D. Tandems, Cooke Components, Dursley Inner Wheel, Dursley Running Club, SR3C, Devonport Dockyard, Lioness Club of Dursley, Dursley Tangent Club, BSI, St James's Place & Steve Morgan Foundation. A modification to three of our Backrests was made by Emsea-Laser Ltd. One of the tandems was restored by the North Bristol Cycling Club. We were also supported by Alex Reeves Engineering Ltd.
