Other Organisations
As well as our tandems, that are free to borrow from us and details of which you can find on our homepage, there are other organisations that hire or lend bikes and/ or give rides to people with special needs. Some of them are listed on the following sites CyclingUK and ActiveMyWay and some are shown on the "Inclusive Cycling UK" map below. Also, if you need a bike to pull along a tag-along then try this list too for Free Bike Hire.
See Inclusive Cycling UK for a Map

Breton Bikes in France lend tandems to eligible Stokers, as do Charlotte's Tandems US in the USA.
You might like consider riding in the Special Olympics.
Companies such as TomCat, Mission Cycles, Ashfield Special Needs Ltd, Quest88 and GetCycling sell bikes specifically for disabled people. An alternative for people who might not be able to balance on a normal bike saddle might be a back rest on one of our normal tandems or tag-alongs.
